Truce 

Can we be closer now, 

and let each other go? 

stop the worship  

stop the ownership 

start the emancipation  

of love from dogma 

Can we be vulnerable now, 

and rely upon our souls? 

no expectations  

no paradigms 

just what we can become 

together or not 

And can we call a truce? 

one without an end 

stop the judging 

stop the measuring 

start the revolution 

to release control.
