Flood
The tragedy brought some
never seen before beauty
a refutation of normality
new colors and textures
that only maddened chance can provide
The water cleansed our souls
from attachment and the trivial
made us remember that sometimes
wants and desires are just excuses
conventions of the unfulfilled
Like everything else
it's a little of chance, a little of choice
can we choose our past?
